Hello'
I'm having my '37 Cad large series (75 or 85 Fleetwood) brake shoes relined, and would like to know if anyone makes rebuild kits with all new springs and parts before I have the old ones reinstalled. Tried NAPA today with no luck.
Many thanks,
Ty Stinson

Morning Ty
I have bought and used these kits and the delivery was quite good considering its across the pond, BUT be warned there are two shoe return springs used by Cadillac missing from this kit, when I made this point the supplier said his manufacturer had never mentioned it to him and he would look into it, but nothing ever happened and I see the kits are still short of these springs.

Hello Steve,
I hope not, that is exactly why I wanted to purchase the kit. I am missing one of those small return springs (?). The missing spring is 1 1/4 inches long with a normal hook on one end and a flat or 90 degree angle hook on the other end. Thought I might as well put on all new springs and parts at the same time.

They sound more unusual than the 60 series springs Ty, I don't think you'll get them in this kit, You may have to replace your old one. Send me a picture and Ill see if I have anything like it as I found some on ebay when I needed them.

Hello Steve,
My camara is broken so I have down loaded a pix of a kit from the web site. I may not have described the short spring I need very clearly. The blue tight coiled spring at the top right hand corner of the pix looks like the one I need showing the flat end hook. The other end should have the same "short end hook" but it is in a normal position.
Hope this helps. I will call them tomorrow and ask if these springs are included in the pack.
Many thanks,
Ty Stinsopn
