Does anyone reproduce the plastic VIN tag on the door pillar? Mine snapped in two when I reinstalled it after painting the car. It was very brittle and discolored from UV exposure anyway. This is for a 1962 Eldorado.

The plastic oil change tag that screws into the driver's door jamb (yeah, the VIN is inscribed on it)  should be available from:  www.mcveys.com  or  www.usapartssupply.com
Enjoy life - it has an expiration date.

I bought mine from McVeys. It was blank (as expected), so I took it to the local trophy shop and had them engrave the VIN. I then "washed" it with black paint, to bring out the numbers. Looks fine.
