programming a new keyless remote for 91 cadillac eldorado

how is this done?i was told at first to use the dlc connector by touching g with a,but the thing is,i don`t have a g port.i think this is only for `92 up.i am now told that i have to program it thru the information center.if so,what sequence? any help would be appreciated.i might add that i had bought the car with only the ignition key.i had bought the fob thru e-bay,and is considered to be the `2nd`(#10178734) remote,not the `1st`(#10269729).if i need the first,i will purchase on in order to get this done. thank you for your time
