Anyone know what to use as replacement weather strips for the doors of a 1970 series 75 limo? I do not have the car here and can not look at it to see what it will take. The car is in a paint shop and they removed, well, ripped out, all the very nice original and threw it out. So there is nothing to compare it to. Checking with the rubber dealers has not helped... If I had a good photo, that would help. OR if someone knows a part number for one of the weatherstrip suppliers, that would also do the job.

Thanks!

So the shop ripped out perfectly good ones and threw them away? And you left the car with them to continue working on it? Isn't it obvious to you that they don't know what they're doing?
Doesn't matter how nice the paint and bodywork turns out if they screw up things that can't be replaced.
An experienced professional would know that limo specific parts that old are not readily available.

WOW!!!! Such HARSH words... the car was close to a parts car when purchased.. I think I should be congratulated for saving a LIMO.. AND stepping up to restore it. It ain't cheap to do these cars and with so much difficulty to get parts... WOW..........
