I would like to purchase new engine mounts for my car. I have noticed the the new ones, round rubber pads,  are different from the original ones where rubber is boxed in a sort of metal frame. I was wondering if they would work like the old ones and was wondering why they are different. TMaybe too expensive to produce the old ones?

Luca,

The 2 front motor mounts are round metal pads as you say.  The single rear motor mount is square and held (vulcanized) in a squarish frame.

´Hi Jay,

so I think the front one you see in this picture is not correct, right?
