I have a lead on a '56 sedan with a decent floor and I would like to know if it will work in one of my rough '55 coupes. Has anyone completed such a swap or compared them? I'm well acquainted with the coupe floor, but have never examined the exposed floor pan of a sedan that was in decent shape.
Thanks,

I bought brand new pans custom fit to my 55 for about $140. Forest's vendor list has some outfits I beleive.

Thank you very much! I appreicate the info and suspected it was unlikely, but I always go for the long shot!
Unfortunately, the floor pans of this car were damaged when the body shell was lifted by a fork lift, so there aren't enough straight parts to mount the patch panels to.
