56 cad head casting numbers

Have a set of heads with big exhaust ports . They fit on the 331 but the exhaust ports are wrong. Someone told me they where for a 56 or newer. What casting numbers did the 56 start with

I don't know the numbers but you are correct, the 1956 was 365 CID and has larger ports.

I have a couple of sets of '56 heads and they all have the same casting numbers...1465406-7

331 exhaust ports are larger on 1952-55 engines, compared to 1949-51. 331 gasket sets usually include two different exhaust manifold gaskets sizes.
1952 60 Special in France.
