1966 4 Door Vacuum Lines

can anyone tell me what all the vacuum lines in my doors (sedan - 4 doors) are for ? there appear to be 4 lines . they are all dis-connected / the car has power windows and door locks . thanks

Those are for your power door locks. Back in those days they were not electric but vacuum. Each door has an actuator to lock/unlock the doors. If you have a body manual there may be a complete diagram of the system. There is in the '67 body manual. If your car also has power trunk release, that's vacuum opereated also.    -Jim

All 4 doors are inter-connected. Two of the lines go to the actuator & the other two branch out to other parts of the system. If you have a fax number I'll be happy to fax the diagram to you.
