Hello everyone.  Looking for the sponge rubber that is between the horn button and the metal contact of the 1941 assembly.  Does anyone sell this part?  Does anyone have a nice trace outline that I can try to replicate the part so that the horn is usable (41 manual is too small to determine exact placement of notches).

Thanks!

You can buy a roll of weatherstrip sponge rubber from most good hardware stores. Granted, a whole roll of the right cross section weatherstrip is a bit much for one car, but you can't buy it in smaller quantities.

The cross section of the material is the important thing. The thickness of the "block"  of it should be around 1/4" to 5/16".

The pocket in the horn ring will tell you how to cut the weatherstrip.
