Position of Engine and Chassis Numbers 73 Eldo

Hi Folks,

Need some help in finding the engine number and chassis number on a lovely 73 Eldorado. I know the VIN number is on the lower left side of the windshield.  And I think the engine number may be at the rear of the block just behind the heads. Can someone confirm this or point me in the right direction? But I have no idea about the placement of the chassis number. All help will be much appreciated.

G'day Ian,

The Engine Number is stamped on the surface on the Left Rear of the Block, behind the Intake Manifold.   Earlier Cadillacs had them behind the Left Head.

There is no mention of the VIN Number being stamped on the Chassis, as it is at the base of the Screen.
