I posted this in my for sale ad, but I figured I'd post it here too that way you all can actually see my Fleetwood in action, so to speak.  I don't figure it will get much exposure in my for sale ad. If this post has to be deleted, I understand.  I'm not the best videographer and I dropped the camera at one point.  The car does have a cracked exhaust manifold so it is a little louder than it should be.  Don't give me grief over my video taking skills...I know how bad I am already! LOL

Hi Jeff,

Just watched your video of your car. It looks great.

I am looking forward to the time that I can drive my car for the first time.

Oh well back to the rebuild.

Okay, so I won't pick on your video.   ::) But do you have a voice to do some descriptive work here? Come on. Sell it. Talk it up !!!

Gorgeous car. I love it. Is this a forced sale? If not....I would hold onto it. The market will come back, but it might be a while. But in the meantime, if it costs nothing but tags and insurance, that's not a lot of money for a car in that condition.

Manifolds are out there. Cheap too. If you tried hard enough, I'll bet someone here offers one for shipping only.

One question. What temperature T-Stat is in there. It was near half on the gauge. Half is 200o F. The first mark is 150o?  So, I'm figuring a 180oF. The third mark is 225oF and the "H" is Holy Cow, It's Cooked.   :o

If you really want a laugh, take a look at the vids I did after I put my 59 back on the road. She has a fresh engine and a Hydra-Matic built with loving care by me.

Thanks for not commenting on my poor video taking skills. LOL  I don't like talking....I always think I sound weird.  I figured I'd let the car sell itself.  It's about as honest a car as you'll come across.  I prefer, at this point, not to mess with the exhaust manifold myself.  Also, I cannot find any local shops willing to tackle replacement.  They are all afraid they might scratch the car, etc.  It's not a forced sale...I just want something new.  I'd like to have a new toy, another Cadillac.  I rarely do much with my fleetwood anymore and I'm doing it an injustice just letting it stay in the garage.  I am running a 180 degree stat in the car.  There is a 160 available, but OE is 180.  It had been idling for quite a while at that point...it usually runs halfway between 1/4 and 1/2...it only creeps up close to 1/2 if there's not much airflow through the radiator.  That is a beautiful 59!  I've always wanted a 59, but I usually seem to go for the 54-56 Caddys.
