Help with a 31 gearbox please

Can anyone help please? I have been contacted by a 1931 V8 Cadillac owner here in England who had his gearbox in a mechanic's shop for rebuilding gears.
, seals, and bearings. The mechanic has subsequently had an accident and broken his back, never to walk or work again.  The owner has a box of bits and new cut gears on the way and is at a loss what to do. I have offered to help if I can but as I didn't take the box apart I need something to go on. Anyone have an exploded view and assembly instructions for these gearbox's please? Anyone have another box they want to sell? Thanks Steve

Sad story, the gearbox is a relatively easy one to work on, a '31 workshop manual will give the views you want.
I'm in the Netherlands, so kind of in the neighbourhood, feel free to contact me, I had apart '30 as well as '32 boxes

Thanks Johan, Iv just located a re pro shop manual from Johnson's literature so this looks like a step forward.

That's awful. How is the mechanic's mental ability? 

Could he possibly supervise the re-assembly? That might even be therapeutic for him to be in the shop passing on his knowledge to a less experienced mechanic.

At this point in time Forrest I'm told that hes still in a Hospital bed and will not be out of it for some time, I suggested the same as you but I believe it will be a long time before this chap comes to terms with his situation and i wouldn't like to be the one to ask him to supervise a gearbox rebuild, anyway, the owner is now in a little bit of a hurry,
