This Master Parts List found in the Modified Chapter's Doc Section has a lot of VIN, Body Tag, Option Codes, Production Sequencing, Trim/Paint info, etc.    One of the pages is shown below.

I agree with Bruce, manuals are great.

Thanks for the information. It is always a thrill to find out more about my car.  My parents bought the car new in 1975 and it has been a part of my life for a long time.  Now its time for some gentle care.  I hope to have pictures soon.

If you do not already have one, get yourself a '75 Cadillac Shop Manual for that "gentle care".

Since 1975 was a (thinner) supplement, you will also need the 1974 Factory Shop Manual.

Manuals are for sale on ebay all the time.

Faxon Auto Literature sells originals, reprints and CD versions as well.  They currently list both the 1974 manual and the 1975 supplement in their inventory. Their contact information can be found by clicking the link in my signature.

Unless you have a computer in your garage or like to print out the relevant pages, I recommend buying a hard copy. Of course you could buy a CD and print your own manual and put it in a 3 ring binder.

Better yet buy the CD version and print only the pages you need for each repair.  It wont matter if you get them greasy because you can always print out another page.
