1955 Cadillac Wiring Harness Tie

Just wondering if anyone has a source for these aluminum wiring ties..appears my car has three of them.

I've never seen those on a 1955.  Are you sure they are original -- or where they
added somewhere along the way.

They look like the ones used to tie Heater Hoses together.

This is a pretty original car..correct fasteners and hose clamps were in place. I am fairly sure I was the first person to disturb these ties.

All I can say is my 55 CDV has no such critters.  From where were they removed?

Dave,
These ties were found in the following places, 1.harness near the positive cable
2. on the drivers side fender portion of the harness 3. on the harness just above the steering column (photo below)
The tie is still wrapped around the harness in the upper right hand of the photo.
Note the piece of tape wrapped around the throttle linkage to the left as well.
I have found a number of quality control marks on this car.
