I purchased the thermostatic control for the radiator shutters on my 1939 LaSalle from Coopers in CA.  Their web site is www.coopersvintage.com and their phone number was 815-567-4140 at the time of my last purchase (2 or 3 years ago). As I recall the attachment bolts had a special thread, so be sure to save the old bolts when you remove the old control.  I generally clean up old bolts (if special) with a wire wheel and push then into a piece of cardboard, marking the cardboard with the location, as it is often many months later when they are needed.
