Im guessing conversion especially since the interior does not look correct and the top (never pictured up) looks a bit odd.

Its for sale if anyone is interested.   Its not mine and I dont know the seller, just saw the ad and thought it was odd.

Definitely a candidate for flexible motoring.

Me thinks the "top" is just a rolled up piece of material to make it look like there is a top there.

Would be a reasonable parts car?

Definately a hack job.   No doubt a fun college cruiser/party car.

I'm guessing by the splotchy white areas at the bodyside level the original moldings were pulled off to try to repair rust.
The frames on these cars are pretty strong, so aside from some flexing it is safe for light duty.  Until it rains that is.

I hope it wasn't a worthy candidate for restoration.

murray mules

judging by the wheelbase this was originally a limo

shame to ruin a good car

does someone still have the roof somewhere??

might make a good parts car for someone who has a limo

This car is back up for sale.   Only $16,000.    I dont remember if it was that much before, you would think for that kind of money the interior would look a little better.

I think they'll have trouble getting $16 hundred for it.
