I have had trucks in the past with this system and dont remember them seeming much different than vac boost systems but I never really had to do any brake work on any of them.  My current project car seems to feel normal and stop fine.  I have not tried to skid the thing yet but in normal driving have not had any feeling that there was an issue.  Today I noticed that the pedal does not feel any different with or without the engine running.  It goes down easily about 3/4 of the way then even easier the last 1/4.  It never gets firm.  I pumped it a few times with the engine running and in gear and it seemed like the brakes were fine. After about a dozen pumps with the engine not running it did not change but I heard something leaking.  Looked around and found it was fluid out the filler cap of the pump.  Level seemed normal a few days ago.  I dont remember my trucks acting like this.   This car has a fairly new looking caliper on the front and a new hose but the rest looks like it has been there for a while.  One of the rear calipers may be stuck but I have not had time to fully investigate.  Power steering seems fine so I dont think there is anything going on with the pump.

Might be some air the system from the prior work, but sitting still you can get the pedal pretty far down normally.
