Vin Plate?

On my 1932 Lasalle where would I find the serial number stamped or a plate...I found the build number plate but not another with the sn on it...is it stamped on the frame somewhere?..thanks..craig

Found it....there is no vin tag for a 1932...the number is stamped on the side of the engine block(passenger side) about half way back and half way down the side by the crankcase...theres a small tab sticking out with the number stamped in it....that number matches up with my title card...thats all I can find...craig...I did see a note on a google search that confirms that...
