Anybody have a solution or quick fix for touching up the chrome/silver accents/edges on the dash board for my 75 Eldorado Convertible??  Seems this Beverly Hills car had it's top down a bit and this silvering/chrome is worn quite a bit.  How do you fix/repair this???

Go to a graphics/ sign  company and see if they have thin mylar chrome that you can apply as you would a decal.

I tried using Testors paint. It works but rubs off easily. You may need to clear coat it.

Any other ideas on what to use?  Can't find the mylar film, but have found the duplicolor paint but also a few negative comments about it lasting.
