Sash Channel problems.... Cadillac 1955

Im going to mount new side glass for a Cad 55. I wonder how the filler strip goes in the sash channel.... ANy??

The filler strip is glass setting tape. You should be able to this from an auto glass shop if not try Auto City Classics. I know they sell it, that's's where I got it for my '57. Apply it to the glass and using soapy water push the sash onto the glass over the tape. The setting tape should be oversized enough to allow trimming when done
