G'day Eugen,

A big WELCOME to you and your HT4100 powered DeVille,

If the Vacuum lines are your only problem with the car, then you are one lucky fella.

Hopefully, your question will be answered by one of our knowledgeable members.

Would you look at that!     A Cadillac enthusiast from a far off country asks for help and receives it within a few hours. Notice that neither person followed the new rule about posting their "real" names.       According to the rules this entire thread should be deleted. In fact Eugen's post should have been deleted when Tassie posted his reply - before an answer was forthcoming.       What a way to welcome people to the CLC and "preserve the marque"!        Obviously that didn't happen nor should it but if you're going to enforce the rules on one, enforce them on all. Good luck with that!
Dear Forest,

You may not have realised when you posted your above message, but I saw the initial posting, and when I replied to it, I also sent our new Member one of my "nice and friendly" emails, directing him to the requirements for the name.

And, he did comply with the request.

As you pointed out, it would have been totally unfriendly to have removed his posting, and I went against the rules, as a number of previous "posters" have found, and were happy to comply.   They even send me complimentary emails.

Why are we having this unfriendly discussion with a man asking for help from Kazakhstan? Could we not wait a little for protocol?
Eugen, I visited your country a few years ago with my wife and twin daughters, and enjoyed our trip visiting our son there serving in the Peace Corps teaching English near Balkash. Welcome to the CLC.

How the heck does a Cadillac limousine make it all the way to Kazakhstan? I thought UPS had a weight limit!
Fun to read about your car, the help found here and yes, even the conversation! We're all just a bunch of car enthusiasts trying to make this all work.
Best wishes to each one of you!
