56 Cadillac Rear Extension Housing Seals, an FYI

My series of oil and transmission leaks started again this year after a 3 year hiatus of blessedly dry garage floors.  I replaced my oil & transmission pan gaskets and was amazed that I still had a small transmission leak.  It turned out that, as my brother the mechanic said, "oil finds the least path of resistance and then leaks at that next weakest point."
