Hershey? Prospects of selling a $25k pre war car?

Anyone have a 'feeling' on how recent car sale activity is at Hershey? I have a 1940 all original, low mile survivor I might think about driving there... is it worth the effort???? I am prepared for the 'swampmeet', but has there been any paving done in the last 10 years?

All the fields at Hershey are paved now (actually they are parking lots).  No more dirt, grass or mud.  You can sell your car in the car corral or in your swap meet space.  The car corral is extensive, so cars must be selling.  Do your research on a realistic asking price for your car.

Yep, Hershey has lost its charm. The one thing you could count on and look forward to.

I sold my 1949 6107 fastback last year at Hershey in the Car Corral.  I got a near record price for a fastback coupe even in a down economy (it may have been a record compared to known auction results in recent years once you back out auction fees).  For me, it worked out very well.  But lots of cars didn't sell.  My car was pretty special and drew a crowd in the Car Corral, so my results are probably not typical.


If the car is a premium, must-have, high-quality car, Hershey might still be one of the better venues.  I don't know for sure, but I'd be inclined to try it again.
