Does an original 41 waterpump have a hole near the top or just 2 holes on the inlet?? Need a quick answer.
Thanks, Bob

Bob, the 1937-41 pumps do not have the extra hole near the top of the pump. This was place at the time [in 1942] of removing the thermostat housing ,from the front of the radiator in 1941, to the rear. This necessitated the use of a hose from the top of the pump to the left side of the block to control warmup temperatures.
