Hello all.

Where can I purchase a car cover for a 57 Cadillac fleetwood? Also, can anyone recommend shops for body/paint/interior for the Downers Grove, Illinois area? I saw an advertisement for a cover that you drive on then zip a cover over the car completely enclosing the car. Is this a decent cover?

I would think a little more research would be in order before getting the "zip-it-up" cover.  Seems to me air circulation would be needed.  In fact I think some of these type covers have an exhaust/pump type device to connect to it?

It also seeks like a lot of work to just use it.  You have to spread it out, drive onto it, then pull all the material up to the roof, or wherever the two halves join and then zip.  That alone would require a lot of (wasted) space to accomplish?

quadfins

I purchased my cover from California Car Cover. They have the correct patterns, and were willing to sew reinforcement panels where the fins would be likely to poke through - All 4 fin locations!

Google the name, and their website will come up.

California Car Cover is excellent; their choices for the most effective cover are many.  They are expensive, but produce a great high quality product.  They are willing to customize to your needs.  I am amazed at the sheer number of patterns and templets in their library of choices and fits for vintage automobiles.  I use them exclusively for all of my cars, old and new.
