While on my daily search thru eBay I noticed this listing >> "1958-1960 Cadillac Fender Skirt Rubber" - did the 59 Fender Skirts have a rubber seal between the skirt and the body of the car? Mine doesn't - I tried searching thru the forums but couldn't find much on the subject.

It may help to "tighten" things up as I always thought they were kind'a loose.

Thanks in advance!

It is likely that it was used in '59.

I confess that I don't know when it was first used, but the Serviceman Bulletin mentions that they stopped using it in mid to late 1961 production.

I suppose that, for a few years, at least, it was standard.

Hi Dave,

The 59 did have that rubber seal between fender and fender skirt. It is attached to the skirt.
