I need a float and sending unit for my 1939 laSalle gas tank. Any one have a source please email me at Johnson.m@monet.k12.ca.us

Will I also need to use a resister for that?  Thank you mj

I bought a universal six volt unit from Cooper Auto last year. I put it in my 1940 Lasalle. It works very well. No resistor was needed and it only cost around $50.00. The tank did not have to be altered in any way and obviously, nobody can see inside your tank.
