What product do I use to clean upper cyls on my 1950 Cadillac? I cleaned plugs as car is sluggish. 67000 miles.  Mystery Oil? or something add to fuel or thru carb? Thanks

Marvel Mystery Oil is a good product for this purpose.  Change your oil, add 1 quart
Marvel along with the with fresh oil, run it about 2-300 miles (highway speeds) then
change oil & filter.

If your upper cylinder area is a bit gunked up this should help.  However, if it's been
badly neglected (such as no oil changes for years or sitting for years) then no additive
will help.

Good luck,

Mike

You can add MMO to your fuel at fill up. Just follow the directions on the bottle. Or you could use a fuel system cleaner that is supposed to clean the fuel system from the tank to the piston tops. I use Amsoil Performance Improver every 5K miles in all my vehicles to keep the fuel system and upper cylinders clean.
