replacing 1940 60 special vent rubber

 ??? need to replace the vent rubber in both the front and rear doors.  can anyone tell me the best way to do it ? thanks for your help steve

It’s been about 30 years since I did the job, but as I remember you remove the garnish moulding and the inner door panel, then remove the regulator, disconnect the window frame from the regulator and then you can put the regulator shaft through the rubber and re-install.  The verticle divider rubber can be replaced any time. All is available from Lynn Steele.
