Hello everyone. I have a '37 LaSalle coupe. I will probably need a trunk handle for it. The one I have is badly pitted and corroded around the pin area that holds the cylinder in place. On top of all that, I do not have a key. I know the GM code and the locksmith wants $28.00 to cut a key. I think this is high!  I was wondering if the '38 LaSalle has the same handle as the '37?  Anybody have any ideas on which way to go from here? I might run a WTB ad after responses. Thanks ahead of time for any ideas.... John Lehman

Send me the code and the key blank and a self stamped envelope. I will cut you one and send it back to you.

Hello Wayne, thanks for the offer. Will pick up a couple blanks Monday. Give me your address and will mail them out to you. Thanks...   JOHN

Hello Wayne, I could not find any blanks in my home town. The guy that wants $28.00 to cut one key per code will not sell me a blank. Will go to another town close by and pick up a couple of blanks. He says he has plenty on hand. JOHN
