Looking at buying a 67 Convert.  DeVille with Bucket seats.   I have a 66, so very familiar with 65-66.  However, not so much with 67.  110K  Orig paint, Some rust on bottom of front fenders, 8"x3" rotted out.  No rust under car, solid.  Garaged last 20 years.  Bumpers not damaged.  Top just has some discoloring, but works and no tears.  Bucket seats-leather with A/C.   Offered 4K when I saw car, but seller wants 5k.  Drives and runs fine.  Besides two major rust spots, seat cracked in middle slightly, antenna doesnt work, clock broke.   Otherwise, solid car.  I know most would want to see to have an idea.  I have a pic I will get later.  I would say solid #3 car.  I know NADA, but thought I'd throw out here before I think of offering 4500-5K :-)  Thanks!

Sadly, that asking price is probably pretty fair.  I remember a time when I could pick one of those up in that condition for half that, but those days are about 10 years in the past.

67 still has the 429, so good luck finding a timing cover if it is worn.

I own a 67 deville convertible love it. This car your thinking of buying you say it has bucket seats does it have the console between the seats? Because if it does that makes it more valuable. Not two many people ordered the bucket seats back in the day. Ive been looking for the last eight years to make the conversion on mine with no luck. I feel thats a pretty fair price. Good Luck!

Yes, it does have the buckets with headrests and center console.  Yes, heard not a common option.  Thanks!

The 67 engine has some unique 1 year only stuff like the qjet carb and intake.  It also has the 472 style rocker system.

$4000 would be nice but from your description $5000 seems fair also.  I see things like you describe listed for $7500 all the time and they never seem to sell till they get closer to that $5000 range so at least in my area that seems to be the going rate.

For what it is worth, the Old Cars Price Guide says that a #4 is worth $5,000.00 and a #3 is worth $11,250.00.  However, I suspect that T.J. Hopland, Derek Sherwood and Cadchuck have a better understanding of the current market.  I also suspect that it makes a difference whether you are selling or buying.

Been seeing 66's in the same condition in the high 4K range.  Wasn't sure about the 67s.  Thanks for the feedback!  I guess I got spoiled with my 66 convert, getting it for $650 (#4) last year    ;D

Hey Chez is that 67 Caddy with buckets still for sale? If you decide not to go with it I might make the guy an offer if that would be OK with you.

Yes it is.  I just called him today and he said already declined $4500 and said $5K firm.  I am heading out towards him next week and may take another look before thinking of 5K.

Ahhh!! Those elusive bucket seats with console. I would give my left you know what for a set of those. Very Sweet. I was wondering are the seats powered?
Thanks for the Pics.

From everything you described, 5 grand is a deal! The bucket seats and console "seal the deal", IMO. Very rare!
And the rest of the car seems fine, ESPECIALLY if you are handy with doing your own maintenance work.
But that is only if it runs and shifts and checks out mechanically, and you say it does! So...go get it!
I think this guy knows what he has, and the value of these cars are on the rise...especially the convertibles!
Good luck!
