I did not know two Sixteens were built. Also, after viewing the video the car being assembled was in primer when fully put together. I thought it would have been painted first then assembled.

This appears to be an outside company that was contracted to build the car/s.  The thing that caught my eye is how close its completion was to the making the start of the auto show, here in Detroit.  They worked through Christmas eve and day!  The show would have started the 2nd week of Jan. then.  It was there.  You could probably still smell paint fumes. ;)

The Sixteen that was on display at the California Grand national in 2005 was a non functional mock up, it had no engine or interior.  the one that wa son display at Capitol Cadillac's dream car show was a fully operational completed unit.  I thought I read somewhere that 3 were built.
