Any ideas on where to find the weight of my car? I've looked in the manuals but not there or I overlooked? thanks...Willis Spivey #26358

I dont have the answer and I am far from an expert on this era but I though the 37 was the last of the series 90?  Wasn't that when they went to the L head and a 70 series?

I would guess the weight to be right around 3 tons based on the few examples I have seen of those cars.

Here is one source for the weight data: http://100megsfree4.com/cadillac/cad1930/cad39s9.htm

It is the same what is written in John Gunnell's standard catalog of Cadillac 1903-2005 (3rd edition) book.

Firstly, the series 90 for Cadillac went through 1940.

Secondlish, if it serves as any help, both my 38-9039 and 39-9057B had licnse weights shown as 5455 Lbs.. I fully unerstand that these figures are not true weights of the cars, but perhaps could give an idea of their weight.

A Yugo, they were not.

The factory advertised weights ran from 4915# for the 9057 coupe to 5415# for the 9053 town car .
