I just purchased a 1956 Cadillac that had been in a garage for 37 years.  It has not been started since then.  I trailered it home and put it into the garage.  Any opinions on the first step to getting her going?  The engine is not seized up.  The only thing missing that I can tell is the air cleaner component and the dipstick.  All side windows are broken and she needs a new windshield.  I've been told that I should just pull the engine and have it rebuilt immediately, but not sure.  What would I expect to pay for an engine rebuild?
Thanks
Frank
