I'm trying to work out a way to repair a leaking carburettor. The alloy casting has a crack. Yesterday we took it to a specialist welder who determined that it had a high zinc content and suggested that the only way to repair it was low heat oxy.  Has anyone had a similar problem?  Thanks.

Regards, Ross Morgan.

Try Classic And Exotic Service in Troy MI.  They have helped me in the past and stock many parts for the Det. Lubricators
