I have a 51 cad 75 limo w/hyd. windows. She's been sitting 20yrs and i'd like to put the windows up and have them stay up till i can get the hyd back in order.also can pump handle 12v for test? I understand the divider is electric, my manual burned up a few years back in house fire so.....any help is appreciated.           Thanks V. Franklin

The divider in 1951 is also hydrallic. The pump probably won't work ,but is basicly a starter motor. See if it is stuck. If so don't try to run it.
This is only a guess. But , I know a number of street rods that were upped to 12 volt and the 6 volt starter was used.
The shop manual and a top manual with hydrallic motor coverage are avalible on ebay. If you need a copy of the Fisher 1951 series 75  manual. Message(on this forum) me your post office address and I'll photo copy mine. Warren
