I'm getting ready to pull my engine out and I want to know where are the best pick points?
I have the body off and could pull both the engine or just the engine. Any suggestions?

HELP. Any suggestions?
I'm thinking I'm going to have to build some brackets that I can use on the head using the head bolts to fasten to and lift that way

I'm getting ready to take the engine out of my 1938 V16 and I need some advice on how to do it. Should I disconnect at the flywheel or take the transmission out with the engine in one piece?

Thanks.

Not that it couldn't come out as a unit but I have always taken the trans out first.  Easy to do and the engine has 4 mounts so it is stable with the trans out.
