Where any components of the 500 engine ever colored anything but black, other than the valve covers (blue)?

I ask because I am taking purple power to degrease some components, the hydramatic bell housing certainly has very old dark blue paint.

I have a '73 Eldo.  The whole engine block & tranny are "Cadillac Blue".
I used Bill Hirsch's blue in a can with good results when I repainted it.

Do any of the books from the club have full color correct photos of the engine bay? Or any other location online?

There is no Authenticity Manual from the Club that covers 1973 as of yet.

My car is original -- I know that since I bought it new in May, 1973.  So the
information I've given you is correct.

Any further questions, please just ask and I'll try to help you.

Mike, Yes one more favor, can you please take 1-3 pictures of your engine bay so I can see your colors?

Guys, I have to apologize.

Due to construction around my house I have not been able to take pics yet.
I tried to take them in my garage but lighting is poor and they did not come
out.

Perhaps this week if events cooperate and I move the car outside.

This photo, courtesy of F. Burns, is an approximate version of engine blue for the 1971-76 period.  I think this pump is from 1976.  Based on color photos taken at the factory, I think this paint is original, but don't rely on the computer screen or even old color photos for exact color matching.  I am trying to figure out how to convey this shade for an authenticity manual.

This paint appears on the arm holding the generator, on the AIR pipe, the top of the transmission dip stick and the breather box at the left of the air cleaner, at least.
