Since I will be at Hershey and have yet to receive my Authenticity Manual, what is the correct windshield washer bottle unit that I should be looking for?   All I have are tubes coming out of the firewall into the engine compartment.

It's a square bottle which resembles a Mason jar, but it has a screw-on lid.  They were reproduced for a while in the '90s, but are no longer so and, as a result, are somewhat difficult to find.  Your Authenticity Manual, which has photos of the bottle, will be mailed tomorrow.

Jay:

Joe Cutler's ad is from December 6, 2009 but I know that he has many parts for 48-49  as advertised in the '49 Times the Newsletter Chapter. Perhaps, he still has the elusive square bottle.

Tito,

You may be right.  In any case, these bottles come up for sale from time to time on ebay, from Joe and elsewhere.

Folks,

I purchased on from a guy in Canada, not that long ago. Was a repo, but looks original. Was $50.00.

You might do a serarch on e-bay and see if he still has some in inventory.
