Recently had the TPS replaced to correct a transmission lockup issue. Issue was resolved but the car now idles too fast and holds too high a speed when letting off the throttle. What is the problem and what is the cure? Thanks.

Rob: Whoever replaced the sensor did not properly calibrate it, per the shop manual. It is adjustable, & needs to be set up with a voltmeter, tach, & maybe some trick wrenches. When it is right, the run-on will be minimal.
