Hi
Does anyone know who makes a high quality (baffled) gas tank for a 1953 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe ? The one I have now looks like a recent replacement (I just got the car). The guage registers but the needle moves constantly. I replaced the sending unit but to no avail. Is there a cure for this or does the tank need to be replaced ? Any help would be appreciated.

Check the tank to earth wire as it will register full if you remove the earth (ie resistance). If earth wire is bad connection it may cause the erratic reading.
