Does anybody have the parts number for the 1942 fog light bulb. It is an odd one with w hood and a raised flange on the base with 3 holes.

It is a single filiment unlike later versions. Possibly the same as a 1946 Cadillac, So little information out there for 42's

I am restoring my various electrical buckets so they will be ready to put in the car when it gets back from the paint shop.

Thanks

Hi Gary,

The fog light bulb for '42 is Mazda #1007.  It is a single contact, pre-focused bulb rated at 32 candlepower.  You are correct that the same bulb is used in '42 and '46.

I believe 1323 replaces 1007 1209 1501 1503 1561.  Available from online vendors.  Here's one:  http://www.bulbtown.com/1323_MINIATURE_BULB_Single_Contact_Prefocus_BASE_p/1323.htm
