1958 dealer decode, please

I just received my GM heritage package and the dealer code is CWV. Does anyone know what this stands for?

    I don't know what the situation was in 1958, but a 3-15 -1955 Distributor listing says CWV was Charleston West Virginia. This was in the Cincinnati Sales  District. The dealer would have worked another level below the distributor. Tom Hall has been trying to keep tract of these things.He likely can tell you who the distributor was,and maybe some of the related dealers.Warren

You should also join the 1958 Cadillac club.  Dave Becker runs that one.  They have nice listing showing the dealer codes.

Back in the 1950's Cadillacs were delivered to "Regional Distribution Centers" that the Dealers would check inventory and order from.  Even special order cars first went to Distribution Centers then to the Dealer.
