Can anyone ID these 17 inch wires that have eight bolt holes ?
(the red one on the right is a Ford)
Thank you,Pat MacPhail

You don't say what the bolt circle is. Hollander ID's wheels, but they need this distance. .It is the distance between opposite wheel studs (center to center). For Cadillac this distance is 5 1/2". Cadillac only used drop center wheels on some models of 32-33 and all 34-35 .  If this checks out also measure the rim width it may help as well. Warren

Warren,
Thank you for the reply.
The wheels have 5 1/2" spacing and are 5 1/4 wide

Here is the list of 8 hole and 5 1/2" bolt circle wire wheels from Hollander 9th ed. (1940)
#161 17x4.19 Cadillac 1932-33 all, LaSalle  1932 early
#162   18x4.19 Cadillac 1932-33 all
#163   17x4    Cadillac 1934 (Cad parts book says all 355D is are the same,so it also fits 1935)
#164   17x4.19 Cadillac 34-35 V12, V16
#181   17x4  LaSalle  late 1932-33
The Cadillac parts book does not list sizes of wheels. It does make distinctions for stainless steel spokes, rolled vs straight edges, painted black or colors, ( it is hard to use for wheels). Long wheel base V8 and LaSalles generally use the V16 wheels.
You may have a truck wheel , they aren't covered in Hollander. I have had trouble measuring Hollanders reported width. They only measure the bottom of the area the tire fits in ,but even that way sometimes it seems wrong. Warren
