will the wiring harness in a 1984 deville work with an Oldsmobile engine. i am currently try to put  an olds 307 in place of the 4100. any help would be appreciated. thank you/

Its not impossible to do but you will have a lot of things to deal with.   Some questions will need to be answered.

What did the 307 come out of?   

Are you keeping the carb on the 307 or are you hoping to keep EFI?

Hopefully you dont have any sort of emissions inspections because it would likely be impractical to do it in a way that would meet emissions. 

Maybe posting over at www.modifiedcadillac.org would get you some more info on swaps in general.  I think several people have done various swaps and would have specifics for you.
