Hello,
Can anyone help with the installation of the rear quarter windows on my coupe?  I have the outer chrome and the inner wood grained steel and the glass, but I can't figure out what else holds the window in place?  Is it just U channel cats whiskers.  Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Steele Rubber's catalogue says there was a rubber seal. It is on page 156 of their catalogue at $99.40.

If its the same as the front screen for that year Ken there is a "Pinch" rubber that fits on the steel edge, the chrome fits over that, another rubber channel fits over the glass, then the whole thing sealed and pressure applied by the inner molding when screwed up. It might be completely different on the coupes though, some pictures would help.

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the reply.  I have the rubber from Steele and the inner woodgrained metal and outer chrome, but there's nothing that supports the glass from the underside in the channel (with the exception of a tab at the back end) and that concerns me.  I supose the combination of the pressure against the frame and the clear selant is sufficient.  I just wanted to be sure.  This stuff is no fun the first time and would be even tougher as a "do over."  I'm having a heck of a time with those wind wings.  The good news is that I painted my wheels (Vincennes Red) and got the new tires mounted and balanced.  Gotta' get this rascal together before Nationals!
Thanks again,

Checked with Steele again this morning.  They have nothing in their catalogue for the rear quarter windows.  They have a listing for the rear window, but that's actually the rear windshield.  Right now they're sending me a length of rubber that's just like the piece that goes around the rear windshield.  If anyone has one of these coupes or has restored one I'd appreciate a little guidance here.
Thanks,
