Can anyone tell me how the car's bumper jack is secured in the trunk so it won't be bouncing around in there ? Is there some kind of a hook that secures it to the floor or side wall ? I do have a metal retainer that holds the spare tire in place , but nothing else .Thanks , Paul Tesone CLC #6876

I do not have a 47 but do know that the 48 and 49 did not have a hold down,  The jack along with some tools was shipped with the car in a box and that is the only way I have seen them stored.  Really a stupid way of holding the jack but that is what I understand was the way
