1969 and 1970 Trunk lock cover

Good Morning

I have a 69 ELDORADO and I was told that the only trunk lock cover that would work is 69 and 70
from an eldorado only.  I have been searching for one and have found 67 thru 78 but no
69 or 70.  My question is will the other years fit? Also would the cover from other models work. it seems like it would  but looking for
some advice.   thanks in advance

1967-68 MIGHT fit, but probably not. 1971 & later was a whole new chassis and body, so they will not fit.
