spacer on 1941 60 special

 where does the spacer go on cranshaft pully? is it between the two pulleys or behind both of them ? thanks john

I'm unfamiliar with what you describe John, none of my flathead engines have the pulleys separate or a separate spacer, its all one unit.

on the cranshaft you have 2 pullys one larger than the other with a large washer or spacer

On the crankshaft you should have the balancer, generator/water pump pulley and the fan pulley. The large bolt that goes into the crankshaft has a large flat washer and lock washer. There is a flange with six holes that goes between the pulley assembly and bolts that hold it on.

Thats where its confusing me John, I have never had to dismantle the balancer pulley assembly. Yours has obviously been taken to pieces for you to have the pulleys and spacers separate.
