Hello,
I really need help from You out there  ;)
I will mount a Petronix ignition system in a Cadillac 1955 with negative ground (ofcourse)
I wonder if someone can tell me how to mount the black and red wire.... I will use my ballast resistor too, so therefore I ask  :'( :'(

I assume installation instructions come with the Pertonix, it looks like #3 is your deal.  So you are connecting the red wire to the 12v input side of the resistor.

What they are saying is that the red wire from the kit needs to hook in before the resistor.  The kit needs to get full power, not power through the resistor like the coil gets.

Yes, I belive the Petronix red wire must be hook into the ballast resistor top 12 V.
